Come to Day One if you are:
involved in the development, delivery or management of national training packages
a member or officer of an Industry Training Advisory Board
an enterprise-based teacher, industry training manager, or workplace trainer
a VET researcher or policy developer
Come to Day Two if you are:
interested in how literacy provision might better respond to the particular needs of different groups
involved in Mutual Obligation, LANT or other youth literacy programs
interested in technology and the educational needs of older people
a practitioner or teacher researcher
interested in participating in ALNARC's small- scale, practitioner-based research projects in the future
About ALNARC
ALNARC is funded by ANTA, through DETYA, to promote research activities nationally in adult literacy and numeracy. ALNARC has a Centre in each state and a national office based at Victoria University. It builds on the foundational work of the former Adult Literacy Research Network (ALRN).
ALNARC's vision is to:
develop and support a visible, viable research culture in the field of adult literacy and numeracy
contribute to the quality of practice, training, research and policy development in relation to the provision of adult literacy and numeracy in community ñ and industry-based ñ education and training
