Forum or Conference?

The forum 'At the front line: context, pedagogy and practice' is NOT included in the conference fee.

You may register and pay for just the forum, just the conference or for both using the form below.

Registrations are due by 27 August 2010. Late registrations cannot be guaranteed a place.

Forum Registration Fee

The Forum registration fee includes the morning and afternoon forum sessions and lunch, complimentary coach transport at specific times on the Thursday between selected hotels and Museum and Art Gallery.

Conference Registration Fee

Conference registration fees include all conference sessions, conference pack, meals during the conference (but not dinner on the Friday or Saturday night), complimentary coach transport at specific times between selected locations and the university on conference days and Mindil Beach Market on the Thursday.

Confirmation

  • You'll receive an email acknowledgement within 48 hours of submitting your registration.
  • All fees are in Austraian dollars and include GST.
  • Registrations are not confirmed unless accompanied by either purchase order or payment (cheque, credit card, online or direct)

Member discounts

**Member discounts apply to financial members of the Australian Council of Adult Literacy (ACAL) or affiliated associations - NSWALNC, QCAL, NTCAL, SACAL, TCAL, VALBEC, WAALC

Early Bird discount

Early Bird closed at 5.00pm AEST on Tuesday 27 July 2010. Payment was required by this date.

Cancellation policy

  • Registration and amendments must be sent in writing either by mail, fax or email to the ACAL 2010 Conference Secretariat.
  • Registration cancellations received up to 5.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) Monday 9 August 2010 will receive a full refund, less AUD $50.00 administration fee.
  • Registration cancellations received after Monday 9 August 2010 and up to 5.00pm AEST Tuesday 24 August 2010 will receive a 50% refund.
  • No refunds will be given for registration cancellations received after 5.00pm AEST Tuesday 24 August 2010

Substitutions

As an alternative to cancellation, a delegate may arrange for another person to be registered in their place at any time. Please advise the ACAL 2010 Conference Secretariat of substitutions in writing either by mail, fax or email.

Program

The program is subject to change without notice. The most up to date version will be on the conference website.

Accommodation

Accommodation is the responsibility of the registrant. The conference website will have links to some local hotels that have offered discounts for conference attendees.

The conference is unable to offer childcare.

Credit card - I'll complete the print version of this form and send by post
of fax with credit card details (MasterCard or VisaCard). Alternatively you
